Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also an anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She's the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by when she was nine years old. This ability that allowed her to get her first role as a Univision production assistant in Miami. There, she collaborated with producers for television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg hired her following this to become a sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. The stories she covered were about illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking in both Texas as well as Mexico. In addition, she was frequently called upon to be a weather and sports anchor. The family relocated from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and relocated to Miami. After a while, her parents separated and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He died from kidney cancer in 2006. When on vacation Antonietta spent the time at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed an offer to work. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, however she knew what she was going to accomplish. The campus was stunning and offered the degree she wanted. After graduation, she attended the university with a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They formed a strong connection. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
