Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her current job is with ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and occasionally host SportsNation. She started working at ESPN in 2016. The child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her ability was crucial in securing her first job as a producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In St. Petersburg, she was hired by the CBS station as the sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the news reporter moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drugs and immigration issues on both sides the Texas-Mexico Border, she served as a news reporter on the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5 pm. She was a news reporter on English at 9 pm and the news anchor was on until 10 pm, and then returned to the Spanish channel. In addition, she was an anchor for anchors of sports and weather forecasters. Then she anchor and wrote for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was given more responsibilities. She did pieces on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She also hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She became a sports host on the morning show that is Despierta America Deportes. Also, she was anchor of the sports segment in Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. She's more mature than her younger sister. There is an older sibling. The couple divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. It was during a time of summer when she was with her sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten the job. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, but was already aware of the things she wanted to be doing. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the degree she wanted. She finished school and enrolled at the university with a major in media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the manager at WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence encouraged her. She in turn was determined to achieve his standards and not disappoint him.
