Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. Her mother is the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. From the age of nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has allowed her to get an employment in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. After a short time, her father split from her mother and she later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in 2006. When on vacation Antonietta spent the time at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten a new job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school and had a clear idea of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the degree she wanted. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University as a major studying media and communication studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
