Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is employed by ESPN as the SportsCenter anchor for news. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has helped her get an employment in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. Within a brief time her father divorced from her mother. She then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. In the summer of 2006, she took an entire week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school, but she was very aware of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. It turned out that she loved the school and they were offering the degree she was searching for. After finishing high school, she made the decision to enroll at the university with a major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for a number of years, was a friend. Mark Bergmann inspired her to have confidence and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her. She, was determined to live up to the expectations of him and not failed him.
